Time of Your Life Vacations supports a wide range of adults (18 & older) who enjoy structured, safe, and all inclusive travel. Our programs are thoughtfully designed with the needs of adults with neurodevelopmental disorders in mind, Ensuring the right level of Support, Supervision, and Independence for a fun filled Vacation.
Many of our travelers also live with Mental health conditions that are not developmental. We’re able to support these conditions Only when they occur together with a developmental disability, and when the traveler can safely participate in group activities. Disorders Often Seen Alongside Neurodevelopmental Disabilities:
We can also accommodate travelers who have additional physical or medical needs, as long as these needs occur together with a developmental disability, Needs we can provide support for:
Our priority is ensuring every traveler is safe, supported, and able to enjoy their vacation to the fullest.
Because our programs and staffing model are specifically designed for individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities, we are not able to serve:
• Individuals who have only physical disabilities without a neurodevelopmental Disorder
• Individuals who are only blind or only deaf without an accompanying developmental disability
• Individuals whose primary diagnosis is a non‑developmental mental health condition (such as anxiety or depression) unless they also have an ID or DD diagnosis
Our vacations are structured as All inclusive group trips with a 1:4 Volunteer chaperone: traveler ratio, bringing together people with a wide range of disabilities and support needs. Each traveler receives support based on their individual level of care, while still participating in a shared group setting.
We DO NOT offer trips that are limited to a single diagnosis or disability type. This includes:
• Autism‑only trips
• Wheelchair‑only trips
• Trips designed exclusively around one specific disability
• Trips grouped by cognitive level or functioning labels
• Trips separated by medical conditions (e.g., epilepsy‑only, diabetes‑only)
• Trips organized around behavioral profiles or support needs alone
Our program is intentionally inclusive. Travelers participate together in a diverse group setting, and support is provided individually—not by separating or categorizing travelers based on a single diagnosis.
We believe in creating a community where travelers learn from one another, explore together, and enjoy meaningful shared moments. Every traveler receives the support they need, but no trip is built around a single diagnosis or disability type.
If you are seeking placement only with individuals who share a specific disability, or if your loved one does not wish to travel alongside people with different disabilities, unfortunately we are not able to accommodate that request. Our program is intentionally inclusive, and our group model depends on travelers being comfortable in a diverse setting.
We also protect the privacy of every traveler. We do not disclose personal or medical information—including diagnoses or support needs—to other travelers or families. This information is shared only with staff and trained volunteers who need it to ensure safety, supervision, and appropriate support. Protecting the privacy and dignity of our travelers is one of our highest priorities.
To ensure every traveler can be safely and properly accommodated, Time Of Your Life Vacations adheres to specific safety and accessibility policies. When a traveler has special requirements, medical needs, mobility concerns, or behavioral considerations, the information provided will be reviewed to determine whether the selected trip can be supported safely and reasonably.
