Frequently Asked questions

All travelers are required to have a Completed Traveler Information Form on file prior to participating in any vacation. This form may be downloaded directly from our website by selecting REGISTER NOW, and clicking on Traveler Information Form or you may contact our office to request that the form be emailed or mailed to you.

All travelers must also provide a valid, unexpired photo identification card. If a traveler is unable to safely hold or manage their own ID, a designated Time of Your Life Vacations staff member may securely hold it on their behalf for the duration of the trip.

For any vacation that includes air travel, travelers must present either a REAL ID–compliant state-issued ID or a valid passport. These identification requirements are mandated by federal regulations, and all necessary documents must be submitted and verified prior to departure.

Before each scheduled vacation, travelers and caregivers will receive a detailed itinerary, along with timely reminders regarding required documents and any additional instructions specific to that trip.

We announce our vacations on a clear schedule so travelers and caregivers know exactly when to expect new opportunities

• Our Brochures are advertised about a month in advance 

• Multi‑day vacations are advertised about 6 months in advance.

• Our Summer Camp is advertised about a year in advance

All trips are filled on a first‑come, first‑served basis. Our day trips sell out very quickly due to High demand, so we strongly encourage travelers and caregivers to watch for our new brochures and sign up as soon as possible.

Travelers are welcome to attend any vacation with a loved one. If you choose to participate as a 1:1 companion for your loved one, you are required to register as a full‑price traveler. This includes paying the full vacation rate for both yourself and the individual you are accompanying.

As a registered traveler, you will:

• Be roomed together with your loved one during all overnight portions of the trip

• Participate fully in all scheduled activities, meals, attractions, and inclusive events

• Receive the same accommodations, transportation, and supports provided to all travelers

This structure ensures fairness, consistency, and safety for all participants while allowing families and loved ones to enjoy the vacation experience together.

 We do not discriminate based on whether someone is considered “high‑functioning” or “low‑functioning.” 

We provide support to all individuals according to the level of assistance they personally require. We cannot—and will not—design a trip around one person’s assumed functioning level, as every traveler is entitled to equal respect, appropriate support, and fair opportunity. 

Time of Your Life Vacations LLC is not a Typical travel agency.

We are a specialized travel service and program designed specifically for individuals with Neurodevelopmental Disorders, commonly referred to as Developmental Disabilities (DD) and Intellectual Disabilities (ID).

Our trips & vacations are fully planned, structured, and all‑inclusive, allowing our travelers to enjoy safe, supportive, and fun experiences without having to manage the details. Our focus is on providing supervised, pre‑determined vacation experiences, not traditional travel‑agency services.

We do not offer custom or general‑public vacations.

Our program exists solely to serve adults with DD/ID through structured, supportive group travel.

If you are seeking services such as a traditional travel agency, we recommend using search terms like “travel agency” or “family travel.” Time of Your Life Vacations is a specialized travel program, not a general‑public travel agency.

 1.  Find the PDF You Want 

• Look for a button or link that says PDF, Download, Open, or Click Here.
• Move your mouse arrow over it.

2.  Download The PDF

• Click the button one time with the left mouse button.
• The file will start downloading.
• It usually goes into your Downloads folder.

3. Open The PDF

• Look at the bottom of your screen OR open your Downloads folder.
• Find the file name.
• Double‑click it (click twice fast).

4. PDFs Don’t Let You Edit Yet

PDFs are usually “read‑only.” To edit it, you must convert it into a different type of file.

You have two easy choices.

OPTION A — Use Microsoft Word (Easiest)

1. Open Microsoft Word.
2. Click File (top left).
3. Click Open.
4. Click Downloads.
5. Click your PDF one time.
6. Click Open.
7. Word will show a message saying it will convert the PDF.
8. Click OK.

Now you can type, delete, and edit anything you want.

OPTION B — Use a Free Website

1. Open your internet browser.
2. Go to Google.com.
3. Type: PDF to Word.
4. Click a site like:
   • Smallpdf
   • ILovePDF
   • Adobe PDF Converter

1. Click Choose File.
2. Pick your PDF from Downloads.
3. Click Convert.
4. Download the new editable file.
5. 
   

5. Save Your Edited File

When you’re done editing:

1. Click File.
2. Click Save As.
3. Choose where to save it (Desktop, Documents, etc.).
4. Type a name for the file.
5. Click Save.
